With effect from 24 December 2007 the name of C&P Asia Pte Ltd will be changed to CWT Commodities Pte Ltd
The name change is a result of the change of ownership that took place in October 2006 when CWT Limited acquired 100% of the shares in C&P Asia Pte Ltd.
There will otherwise be no change in the legal entity of the company and all outstanding contracts with our customers and business partners shall remain unchanged. Further, there will be no changes in our company registration numbers, office addresses or our bank account numbers.

C&P Asia acquires 80% stake in JVT Shipping B.V (The Netherlands) to further develop its commodity logistics business in Europe
Incorporated in Rotterdam, JVT Shipping B.V ("JVT") is an integrated commodity logistics provider. JVT has the capabilities to handle non-ferrous metals, minor metals, Ferro-alloys, metal-scrap and other commodities as well. Its warehouse is approved by London Metal Exchange ("LME") and Minor Metals Trade Association (MMTA).
The acquisition of 80% stake in JVT is part of the CWT Group's strategic plan to further enhance and broaden its scope of commodity logistics services. The acquisition will enable C&P Asia to expand on its dominant position in Asia and grow in other regions as well. With JVT, the Group is able to build a strong European presence, in key locations where most of C&P Asia's clients are based. AUGUST 2007

C&P Asia launches new corporate website to serve its customers better
In October 2006 C&P Asia launched a new corporate website in order to serve its customers better. The website offers an overview of the company’s full range of services and commodities handled. In addition it lists C&P Asia’s locations in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The website also provides the interested reader with extensive background information on the company’s history, corporate structure, affiliated companies and group financial health.

C&P Asia’s integration into CWT Ltd is completed
In October 2006 C&P Asia Pte Ltd was integrated into CWT Ltd. CWT is one of the leading logistics players in Asia offering integrated logistics solutions to some of the world’s best known brands in the chemical, fast moving consumer goods, healthcare, electronics, automotive and industrial sectors. In 1993 CWT was listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. C&P Holdings Pte Ltd is a major shareholder of CWT. The CWT Group has a presence in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Egypt and the Middle East.
